Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between the Military-Industrial Complex and romance tourism.
With influences as diverse as Machiavelli and L Ron Hubbard, new combinations are distilled from both opaque and transparent layers.
Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the essential unreality of relationships. What starts out as triumph soon becomes debased into a manifesto of power, leaving only a sense of dread and the prospect of a new order.
As spatial forms become distorted through frantic and personal practice, the viewer is left with a tribute to the inaccuracies of our condition.
