Drugi - još i znakovitiji jest taj da žene poduči opet pravilno disati - kroz dijafragmu, a ne kroz prsa kako to svi mi radimo. Poanta je ustvari u tome da ljudi zapravo zaborave disati pravilno, a jedini koji to još uvijek znaju su - bebe. Sve bebe dišu tako, ali s vremenom jednostavno preuzmu "lakši", plići način disanja. Unatoč tome što je disanje iz dijafragme zdravije jer vam istovremeno omogućuje i opuštanje.

Zato ove trudnice opet uče disati iz dijafragme, ali ova metoda ne staje na tome. To je tek prvi korak. 

Drugi je korak nešto teži - trudnice uče prilikom disanja aktivirati svoje transverzalne trbušne mišiće kojima obuhvaćaju svoju bebu stvarajući tako "rupu", odnosno dovoljno mjesta za bebu koja ne nestane nigdje, već se samo ugnijezdi ispod rebara gdje je potpuno sigurna.

A kako kaže Brooke Cates, takva vježba pomaže i bebama i to tako da i one usput uče pravilno se kretati u maminom trbuhu te ostati mirne i smirene dok se mama priprema za lakši porod.

Jer to je još jedan fenomenalan nusproizvod ove zanimljive metode. Jamči to Brooke Cates koja kaže da žene ovako osim što održavaju snagu svoje jezgre i pritom često aktiviraju trbušne mišiće (dakle vježbaju ih), uče disanjem umiriti svoje tijelo i izazvati prirodne kontrakcije, a sve to vodi puno bržem i bezbolnijem porodu. Kaže čak i to da su "njihove" trudnice u prosjeku rađale tek oko pola sata i nisu pritom osjećale bolove u donjem dijelu leđa.

We call this exercise TBM's Deep Core Hold and recommend that all our mamas do this during pregnancy, along with several of our other deep core techniques. Exercises like this one provide endless benefits that support your body during & post pregnancy. Making sure to add some PF awareness to the exercise (both a softening & strengthening) will also help to build a better relationship with your PF decreasing your chance of incontinence & prolapse. Let's shift the way we see these "normal" pregnancy related issues. Diastasis Recti, PF issues, low back pain, hernias, extremely long pushing times, slow recovery post birth- these are ALL things that can be prevented when adding correct core exercises + being willing to shift core specific movement patterns while pregnant.
