Three Croatian towns on Forbes' list of safest post-corona destinations
THE AMERICAN magazine Forbes has included as many as three Croatian destinations in its list of 20 safest and best European destinations for post-corona travel and tourism. The list includes Zagreb, Cavtat, and Rijeka, reports Ina Rodin, the director of the CNTB Representation in New York.
Forbes states that the European Best Destination Organization singled out 20 European destinations that are least affected by the coronavirus, and recommended them as suitable destinations for travel in the upcoming months.
"The inclusion of as many as three Croatian destinations in the list of the safest European destinations confirms our country's international status as a quality and safe tourist destination that has all the prerequisites for safe tourism in the upcoming months," said CNTB Director Kristjan Stanicic.
Cavtat, which is described as a favorite destination of celebrities, families, lovers of good gastronomy, culture, nature, and water sports, was awarded a high third place. Zagreb got the eighth place on the EBD list as an ideal city break destination, while Rijeka, the European Capital of Culture of 2020, took the twelfth place on the list.
The first place on the list was taken by Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Other destinations that have found their place on the list are Corfu, the Azores, Kotor, Warsaw, Vienna, Bohinj, and Malta.
