Unofficial election results: HDZ wins by a landslide, SDP fails abysmally

ACCORDING TO media estimates of the unofficial results published by SEC at 9 pm, the HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union) is set to win 66 seats in the parliamentary elections for the 10th assembly of the Croatian Parliament, while the Restart coalition led by the SDP (Social Democratic Party of Croatia) is set to win 41 seats.

The third party to win the most votes is the Domovinski pokret (Homeland Movement), which is set to win 16 seats, and the fourth is Most (Bridge of Independent Lists), which is set to win 8 seats in the Parliament.

Seven seats are set to be won by the green-left coalition united under the platform Možemo! (We can!).

The Strip coalition led by the Pametno (Intelligently) party are set to win three seats, and the Reformisti (Reformists) and the HNS (Croatian People’s Party) are set to win one seat.

At 9 pm, the SEC announced the unofficial election results after counting the votes from 22.95 percent of polling stations, where 13.31 percent of voters voted.
