ODRŽANA je 75. dodjela najveće filmske nagrade nakon Oscara, Zlatnog globusa. Dodjelu je vodio Seth Meyers, a sve je bilo u znaku ženskog bunta i solidarnosti sa žrtvama seksualnog nasilja o kojem se prošle godine najviše pričalo u Hollywoodu.

Dodijelile su se nagrade u ukupno 25 kategorija - 14 filmskih i 11 televizijskih, a dominirala je serija Big Little Lies te drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Inače, Zlatni globusi su veoma često vrlo točni indikatori za dodjelu Oscara.
