SPLIT-DALMATIA County, which has been registering the highest daily numbers of new Covid-19 cases in Croatia lately, on Friday reported that of 582 tests performed for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, as many as 103 had returned positive.

In the City of Split, 41 persons have been diagnosed with the infection in the last 24 hours, and is followed with Imotski in the hinterland with 14 cases. Also, there have been a number of cases in the municipalities around Imotski.

Of those 103 newly diagnosed patients, 35 are contacts of the cases previously identified.

The KBC Split hospital is treating 18 Covid-19 patients.

In this southern county, currently 1,236 people are self-isolating.
